A STREET dealer found with cocaine in his sock has been spared jail. Police had stopped his car and discovered the drug along with a zombie knife and 700 Viagra tablets.

Ryan Phythian, 29, was never charged with any offence over the knife, and the Viagra is not illegal. He pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine and being concerned in the supply of cocaine.

But the judge, His Honour Rhys Rowlands, at Mold Crown Court today told Phythian the passage of time since the offending allowed the court to be “merciful” He sentenced Phythian, of Rhodfa Cae Isa, St Asaph, to two years' imprisonment suspended for two years.
