OVERNIGHT A55 CLOSURES TO UPGRADE ELECTRICITY LINES

AN upgrade on overhead electricity lines will see overnight closures of the A55 and there will be more disruption as repairs continue on the Conwy tunnels.

The work on both schemes will take place this month - with the electricity project also set to bring temporary closures in future months.

The overhead line work will disrupt the eastbound and westbound carriageways between J32a Pentre Halkyn - J31 Caerwys. This will take place overnight - with eight closures in total. These will start next week with two dates in July and then continue in September and October.

Meanwhile works are also taking place in July on the repairs to the westbound Conwy tunnel.
