Fletcher aware players are lacking confidence to 'see out the match'

Benjamin Sesko scores at Burnley, but United could not hold on to their lead; Interim boss Darren Fletcher applauds the away fans (inset)

United conceded first against Burnley at Turf Moor on Wednesday night, but they fought back to lead in the second half after a Benjamin Sesko brace.

Just six minutes after Sesko fired United into the lead, Burnley forward Jaidon Anthony found the back of the net to ensure the points were shared.

Only West Ham, Chelsea and Bournemouth have dropped more points from winning positions than United this season.

The Reds have lost a total of 14 points from winning positions.

It's understood that United insiders have questioned the mentality of the players, who have often failed to demonstrate the know-how to see out a victory after taking the lead this term.
