Fire crews put out hill blaze that damaged 5,000sq metres

FIRE crews were called to extinguish a hill fire on the Llyn Peninsula yesterday on Monday.

It broke out near Rhiw, shortly before 11am.
A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said they sent three engines to the scene from Abersoch, Nefyn and Porthmadog.
