A55 drivers faced a day of travel misery yesterday as multiple incidents sparked major delays.
Several crashes led to closures on the North Wales expressway across the day.
One crash, near Bangor, saw the road being closed in both directions as an air ambulance landed nearby. Drivers were urged to avoid the area while emergency crews worked at the scene.
Traffic Wales warned drivers that the road was closed between Junctions 10 and 11, with the Flightradar24 website showing the air ambulance landing at the scene at around 11.35am. It later flew to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor.
