Dad and baby die in crash as mum and son fight for life

A FATHER and his baby daughter have died in a tragic road accident.

The family-of-four, which had just moved from North Wales to Poland had been travelling in a car when it crashed into a tree.

The mother and young son remain in a serious condition in Poland following the collision. The family are believed to have lived in the Connah's Quay, Flintshire area before the crash happened within days of their arrival back in Poland.

A £2,000 GoFundMe appeal has been set up to help for funeral costs for the little girl Natalka, who was just two-months-old. It has been organised by a Polish support group.

The accident happened on Thursday at about 10am on a local road near Olsztyn, on the municipal route between Gorowo Ilaweckie and the village of Kaminsk (Bartoszyce district).

Anna Buckley, from the Polish Integration Support Centre (PISC) in Wrexham, confirmed the tragic news. She said: "With deepest sorrow, we share the tragic news of the passing of Krzysztof (30) and his baby daughter Natalka, who lost their lives in a terrible car accident in Poland.
