County may face £40million shortfall

CYNGOR Gwynedd could be looking at a funding shortfall of around £40million over the next three years - raising concerns over council tax rises and more cuts.
That's according to the council's Medium-Term Financial Plan.
It sets out the financial outlook for the three-year period starting on April 1, 2026.
The plan provides a strategic outlook and is used as a tool to help the council make decisions over its future planning.
