‘CHERISHED grandmother’ has died in hospital weeks after being involved in a two-vehicle collision.

North Wales Police confirmed 89-year-old Eirlys Elizabeth Williams died on Friday, September 5, following a crash on the A5026 in Gorsedd, Flintshire, which happened on Monday, August 18.
The crash involved a red Nissan Micra and a grey BMW X3, and happened shortly after 1.30pm. Mrs Williams’ family have now paid tribute to her, saying she leaves behind ‘a legacy of boundless, fun memories.
