Call for action on flash flood sewage nightmare

FLASH floods that can cause sewage to flow into homes has left residents in a city suburb fearing the rain.

Properties on three streets in the Borras Park area of Wrexham have been living with this nightmare for "many years".

They have now collected a petition that calls on Dŵr Cymru/ Welsh Water and Wrexham council to prioritise the necessary drainage upgrades as soon as possible. This has been backed by Sam Rowlands MS for North Wales, who said immediate action was needed,
