Alexis expected to be part of Far East tour

ALEXIS Mac Allister is expected to be part of Liverpool's preseason tour to the Far East despite having not played a game for more than two months.

Mac Allister hasn’t featured since the 2-2 draw at home to Arsenal in mid-May after sitting out the final two games of the Premier League season to nurse a longstanding injury issue.
The 26-year-old was also ruled out of Argentina’s World Cup qualifying double header against Chile and Colombia in June, and was among a group of senior players who didn’t appear in Liverpool's opening preseason friendly at Preston North End last Sunday.
