£100 parking fines wrongly given to some

CHANGES to the car parking system at an iconic Anglesey beach has seen some fines wrongly dished out.

This spring Natural Resources Wales (NRW) changed the arrangements at Traeth Llanddwyn and Newborough National Nature Reserve and Forest.
The barrier entry system was scrapped and a new ANPR setup installed. Enforcement of the new charges started on March 30.
Under local arrangements people living in Newborough, Dwyran, Llangaffo or Malltraeth can register up to two vehicles for free parking in the car park at Llanddwyn Beach.
