After memorable CSK stint, Brevis 'hopes to be back soon'

SOUTH Africa’s Dewald Brevis has thanked the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) franchise and their fans after completing a short but impressive stint in this season's IPL.

Brevis, who joined CSK mid-way through the season as an injury replacement, scored 225 runs in six matches at a blistering strike-rate of 180 and an average of 37.50.
His performances were among the few bright spots in what proved to be a disappointing season for the five-time champions, who finished bottom of the table for the first time in their history.
