Daughter 'moved dementia mum's hand' to get her fortune

AN electrician has won a £700,000 will fight against his sister after a video showed her moving their mum's hand to sign everything over to her.

Margaret Baverstock had advanced dementia when she "signed" the document eight days before she died aged 76.

It left her entire estate, including a house, to her daughter Lisa. Margaret's son John was cut out completely.

After seeing the video footage from 2021, a judge has ruled the will was invalid, and John has been granted half of the money.

Judge Jane Evans-Gordon said: "Lisa Baverstock manhandled the pen into her [mum's] hand.

"Lisa... physically caused the deceased's hand to move and make marks on the document...
