Spurs ace Kudus fires World Cup warning to England

- BY ALASDAIR GOLD

MOHAMMED KUDUS has warned England that Ghana will be ready for them at the World Cup.

The Tottenham attacker's immediate thoughts might be on tonight's Champions League clash with Slavia Prague.

But the countdown is very much on for next summer's finals in the USA where Ghana have been drawn with Thomas Tuchel's (below) England side in Group L along with Croatia and Panama.

Spurs star Kudus and his compatriots will do battle with Harry Kane's men on June 23 in Boston.

Despite missing out on qualification for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, Ghana boast Premier League stars among their ranks in Kudus, Bournemouth's Antoine Semenyo and former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey as well as Athletic Bilbao's experienced winger Inaki Williams.

Kudus and Semenyo alone have eight goals and nine assists between them in the Premier League's opening 15 matches.
