Mum's hope for her missing son nearly 40yrs on
THE MUM of a sailor feared to be a victim of a “Frankenstein” killer still hopes for justice - even though police have closed the case after nearly 40 years.
Radio operator Simon Parkes, then 18, went ashore from HMS Illustrious in Gibraltar in December 1986 and has not been seen since.
