GRIMSBY manager David Artell reckons Manchester United should keep the faith with Ruben Amorim - after helping to plunge his future at Old Trafford into doubt. United's exit on penalties to Artell's League Two side after being comprehensively outplayed in the first half on Wednesday night has prompted speculation over e Portuguese's position. There have been many low moments in Amorim's 10-month tenure but the Carabao Cup calamity in Cleethorpes represented rock bottom.

“It's a big ship. It's the biggest ship and he's having a right good go. He needs time and he needs backing.
