THE law is not protecting women and girls from online harm - from sexual content to abuse - which is all too often overlooked.

I care deeply about this. Responsibility should sit with platforms and regulators, not users alone. We have ambitious, world-leading legislation around online safety in the UK.

But women and girls' experiences are not being fully addressed, partly because our current laws are not preventative enough.
