Strictly Come Dancing star Sarah Hadland takes on a very different challenge in The Celebrity Apprentice

Actress Sarah Hadland is one of 12 celebrities facing Lord Alan Sugar on this year's The Celebrity Apprentice, and the Strictly Come Dancing star admits that meeting the business mogul and his two advisors, Baroness Karen Brady and Mike Soutar, was a scary prospect.

"My instinct is to make things funny," she says. "I barrelled in on the first day and said, 'Hello!' All three of them looked at me like I was mad. Quite quickly you realise you've got to have serious answers." When it was time to pitch to Lord Sugar, Karren and Mike as part of a team of celebs, things didn't get any better for Sarah.

"It was just awful! To start with, you're cocky. You think it went well, we all got on great, nothing to worry about. Then Lord Sugar started praising the other team, our stomachs sank, we were like 'Oh no, am I going to get fired on national TV by Lord Sugar? I don't think this is very funny any more!' Then he really went for us." she says.
