- BY TOM PETTIFOR Crime Editor

MURIEL McKay's killers visited a tailor's shop used by the Kray Twins where her family suspect she is buried, police papers reveal.

She was abducted from her home on December 29, 1969, aged 55, after two brothers mistook her for the then-wife of media tycoon Rupert Murdoch.

Nizamodeen and Arthur Hosein wanted £1million for Muriel’s safe return but she was never seen again.

The pair were jailed for life in 1970 for kidnap and murder, but refused to say where she was. Nizamodeen recently claimed she was buried at Arthur's farm in Stocking Pelham, Herts, but searches found nothing.

Now, the family of tailor Percy Chaplin, who made suits for Ronnie and Reggie Kray, believe Muriel was buried in the garden of his shop at Bethnal Green, East London, where the feared gangsters ruled with an iron fist.
