Jenny Powell's on the mend

PRESENTER Jenny Powell is proud of the scars she has been left with after a long and painful health battle.

The former Wheel of Fortune star, 56, visited a doctor last year after being photographed by paparazzi in Ibiza. When she saw the photos later, she spotted a large bump protruding from her lower abdomen.

After suffering almost a decade's worth of debilitating symptoms, an MRI scan showed that her uterus had expanded to the size of that of a 16-week pregnant woman.

She had a robotic hysterectomy in October, going private due to her local five-year NHS waiting lists, and was proudly back in her bikini weeks later.
