MOSES ITAUMA should go one step at a time in the heavyweight ranks and not risk getting hurt by facing Oleksandr Usyk too early.

That is the view of Britain's former unified light-welterweight world champion Amir Khan.

Chatham southpaw Itauma extended his perfect record through 13 professional fights with a first-round knockout of Dillian Whyte in Riyadh on Saturday.

The 20-year-old's devastating performance against former WBC interim heavyweight champion Whyte (below) saw Tyson Fury claim Itauma would beat undisputed world heavyweight champion Usyk.
