Starmer hits back at 'toxic division' of Robinson and Musk

The Prime Minister told Cabinet members yesterday the violence at the weekend "sent a chill through the spines of people around the country".

Some 150,000 people descended on Westminster on Saturday for a rally organised by Robinson, a far-right activist and co-founder of the now-defunct English Defence League.

US-based billionaire Musk claimed via video link at the protest that "violence is coming" and told supporters they must fight back or die.

Twenty-six police officers were injured - four of them seriously - in violent clashes.
