Star accused of threat to linesman to 'take it outside'

FOOTBALL pundit Ashley Williams has been accused of threatening a linesman at an under-15s game.

Images show the Match of the Day star, 41, pointing at the volunteer official but Williams - whose son was playing in the game - denies making threats.

A source insisted the former Everton and Swansea City defender had instead told off the linesman for swearing in front of his daughter.

A spokesman for Williams, who appears on the BBC and Sky Sports, also denied claims he offered to settle the matter in a car park and said: "Nothing happened."
