Silent heartache

There are more than you know and bigger names than you think. It's a huge problem DANNY MURPHY 2ND FROM RIGHT, ON PLAYERS' LOST FORTUNES

FORMER Premier League star Danny Murphy says hundreds of ex-players are struggling with the silent heartache of having lost their fortunes in failed investments.

The Match of the Day pundit is among the household names who lost millions after putting their earnings into investment deals.

He said their ordeals highlight the alarming gaps in support for sports stars and entertainers.
