Schools to be 'heart of support networks'

SCHOOLS will be the beating heart of a network of support around every child, the Education Secretary is to tell headteachers.

Bridget Phillipson’s speech at the Association of School and College Leaders’ annual conference today comes after reforms announced in the Schools White Paper.

Ms Phillipson will say: “The changes you have seen in your classrooms over the past decade - the poverty, the additional need, the technology - this is a new era of childhood.
