Farage ally jailed over Moscow bribes

REFORM UK leader Nigel Farage is facing more questions over his party's links to Russia after a key ally was jailed for 10 years in a cash-for-speeches scandal.

Nathan Gill trousered thousands of pounds in bribes while representing the right-wing party as an MEP.

The 52-year-old, a former leader of Reform in Wales, took money to deliver scripted speeches and speak up for an ally of Vladimir Putin.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer said Gill's case raised urgent questions for Mr Farage, while Lib Dem leader Ed Davey said he and his party were a threat to national security.

Mr Starmer said: "I think Nigel Farage needs to immediately launch an investigation into his party.

"How did that happen? And what other pro-Russian links are there between Reform and all of his members and people?" Gill took illegal payments of around £40,000 from tycoon Oleg Voloshyn called a pawn of the Russian security services by the US government.
