Reeves warned: Don't balance books on backs of retail workers

Some 350,000 retail jobs have been lost in the past decade and more than 10,000 shops closed last year. Labour has vowed to reform business rates to get high streets thriving, with plans for a cut for retail, hospitality and leisure properties from next year.
