POWELL: WAKE UP AND START BELIEVING IN TRINITY UPSET

YOU would be hard-pressed to find anyone who gave Wakefield Trinity a chance of success before the season started.

And now we are down to six teams, Daryl Powell can still sense people aren't giving his side a chance despite making the play-offs.

Trinity have enjoyed a fantastic first season back in Super League following promotion from the Championship, emerging as the competition's surprise package to reach the top six.

They take on Leigh Leopards in the opening game of the play-offs tomorrow and will go in as underdogs.

But while others may not give them much hope, Powell (left) has belief his side could turn heads again. "There's quite a lot of people, as I've been coming in today, giving me a pat on the back for making the six, almost like they don't know how we've done it," he said.
