NHS relief as norovirus in hospitals falls

THE norovirus outbreak has finally hit its peak with hospital admissions falling, say health chiefs.

An average of 899 beds were filled each day last week, down 15% from 1,063 the previous week.

The total peaked at 1,160 in mid-February.
