Mobile liver scanners flag cancer risks

THOUSANDS of people in England have been sent for potentially lifesaving liver checks thanks to an increase in the number of mobile scanning teams.

The number of scanning trucks has gone from 11 to 20 in two years, with 112,831 people having liver scans, and 8,470 referred for further
