EDINBURGH is the third most expensive city break destination in Europe, a report claims.
Post Office Travel Money found the average total price of a trip is £601.
It is double the cost of Lisbon (£292) - Western Europe's cheapest - or Riga Latvia (£252), the cheapest top European city overall.
