BEAUTIFUL North Yorkshire is the best place in England to grow old, researchers claim.

The area - known to millions as the backdrop for the long-running BBC comedy Last of the Summer Wine - ranked highest for access to care services, abundant green spaces and community facilities such as libraries, leisure centres and day hubs.
