John, 59, toasts Lotto luck at local pub

A STUNNED dad shouted “I’m a millionaire!" as he arrived at his local to celebrate a big lottery win.

John Parker, 59, ordered his usual after winning £1million by matching the UK Millionaire Maker code in a EuroMillions draw last month.

The delighted dad-of-two raised a glass with partner Lisa Beal, 47, as they made plans for his 60th birthday bash later this year.

John, from Co Durham, who has two grandchildren, said of his pub dash: “It is pretty much next door so my excitement was still at fever pitch in the few minutes that it took me to get to the pub.
