I've been poorly ..I'm just getting my voice back

BRITAIN'S Got Talent contestant Stacey Leadbeatter says it has been touch and go whether she would make it on stage tonight after losing her voice.

The recipient of guest judge KSI's Golden Buzzer has had strep throat but is bidding to be well for the second live semi-final at Wembley Arena.

Stacey, 29, says: “My voice is only just coming back.

“I am still on antibiotics. I haven't been able to sing properly. I have been a bit concerned about this weekend but, hopefully, I'll be able to do it.”

Supermarket worker Stacey wowed the judges and audience alike with her first audition, singing the Leona Lewis version of Snow Patrol's Run.

Since then, she has been overwhelmed by messages of support.
