Sarries star Tomkins has Prem passion for Welsh pals

NICK TOMPKINS is aiming to be the centre of attention when Saracens take on Exeter today and show Welsh pals the Prem is the place to be.

The Wales star will be up against an inform Chiefs' midfield made up of England's Henry Slade and Wallaby import Len Ikitau, who starred against the Lions in the summer, in a heavyweight clash in North London.

Tompkins, who has more than 40 Welsh caps, has seen the game eat itself over the Severn Bridge, with one region, probably the Ospreys, set to be chopped, leading to an exodus of players to England.

Jac Morgan and Dewi Lake have already signed for Gloucester for next season and, with uncertainty swirling around the Welsh game, more are set to follow.
