NOROVIRUS is on the rise with a continued increase in people hospitalised with the vomiting bug.

Hospitals vomiting bug cases rise again

Some 1,100 beds were either occupied with someone with the virus or closed off for infection control purposes.

On average 950 patients were in hospital with sickness and diarrhoea each day last week - 15% up from the previous week.
