Moses switches to coach Ben and rekindles his passion for boxing

MOSES ITAUMA had fallen out of love with boxing until he peered into Ben Davison’s gym and found fondness for the sweet science again.

The future superstar of the heavyweight division seemed to have the world at his feet with promoter Frank Warren backing him.

He was fast-tracked towards the top even before he was 20.

Itauma was 8-0 as a professional and everything appeared to be going perfectly for the Slovakian-born British fighter, who was also a schoolboy star in the sport.

But something was nagging him and the sport was starting to grate.

So he sought a new trainer and it was when he looked into Davison’s gym in Harlow he knew he could rekindle his adoration for the sport he excelled in as an amateur teenager.
