Instead, the veteran entertainer is gearing up to go on tour again - at the age of 85.

To mark his birthday on Tuesday, the Mirror has launched a new book, Cliff at 85, which shares some of the best photos of the man himself all taken by our army of photographers throughout his long career.

They cover his time as the young Harry Webb, born in India to a British dad who worked on the railways, through his movie star era with Summer Holiday and his Christian preacher years to the octogenarian we know today who led the Platinum Jubilee Parade in 2022 for his beloved Queen Elizabeth II.
