Award-winning star Marisa Abela reveals what's next for the sex, drugs and money-obsessed Pierpoint bankers in the new series of Industry

- WORDS: JO BERRY

Marisa Abela describes winning a Best Leading Actress TV BAFTA in 2025 for her performance as Yasmin in the last season of steamy drama Industry as "an unbelievable thing".

"It made me feel incredibly proud," she says. "It felt like such a great achievement not only for me, obviously, but for the show as a whole and everyone that's worked on it." The financial thriller follows the personal and professional lives of a group of young graduates who join London investment bank Pierpoint & Co- but by the end of the last series the bank had closed down and Yasmin had decided to marry wealthy and erratic CEO Sir Henry Muck (Kit Harington) to ensure her future.

"In the fourth season, Yasmin is married to Henry and their relationship is spinning out of control. She is not only a wife, but essentially a caregiver to someone who resents her for needing her care," Marisa says.
