Flat furore raises lots of questions

THE ongoing witch-hunt by Kemi Badenoch and the Tories reeks of hypocrisy.

When buying her flat in Brighton, Angela Rayner sought expert advice in an effort to ensure that everything was being done by the book. On being further advised, she contacted HMRC and the relevant parliamentary body herself, not because of the baying Tory rabble calling for her sacking.

Compare that with Badenoch who claimed to have successfully completed a “premedical study course”. However, the university at which she claimed to have studied says they did not offer that course, nor does it have any record of her having attended or studied there.

Have Badenoch's lies generated employment at a level to which she was not entitled? Probably. Has she made financial gains? Quite probably if she used false information to obtain a higher level of employment and salary than she was entitled to. Perhaps she should be sacked.
