Ex-skipper's 'industrial injury' bid

A FORMER England footballer is fighting to have his brain condition recognised as an industrial injury linked to heading the ball.

Dave Watson, 78, has a neurological condition which is said to be linked to repeated head injuries sustained during his playing career.

He is believed to have both Alzheimer's and chronic traumatic encephalopathy.
