EMMA RADUCANU has decided not to represent Britain in the upcoming Billie Jean King Cup Finals.

- BY YASMIN SYED

The British No.1 was named in team captain Anne Keothavong's four-woman squad earlier this summer, alongside Katie Boulter, Sonay Kartal and Jodie Burrage.

But Raducanu has now opted to withdraw from the tournament.

Instead, the former US Open champion (above) has accepted a wild card into the upcoming Korea Open.

Raducanu, 22, is keen to focus on her WTA Tour schedule and her progress with new coach Francisco Roig.

The world No.36 has enjoyed success at the Seoul tournament in the past, reaching the semifinals in 2022 and the quarterfinals last year, when she retired mid-match with a foot injury.
