Doing it all for charity

Having been made redundant from her corporate job, Kerry Magson, 37, from Skipton, North Yorkshire, didn't know what to do.

She ended up volunteering to fill her time, and this led to a job she loves - manager for a children's charity.What does the company do?

The Principle Trust Children's Charity supports children in Yorkshire facing adverse childhood experiences. We provide free week-long respite for children facing mental health challenges, trauma, abuse, poverty, serious illness or disabilities, giving them the chance to escape and enjoy a week with their family in a safe space, making lasting memories. What makes us unique is we have a 100% donation policy - every penny we raise goes directly towards the respite breaks we provide.
