Channel swim hero's Rolex has a £1m tag

THE Rolex worn by the first British woman to swim the English Channel could fetch £1million when it heads to auction Mercedes Gleitze's “vindication swim” of 1927 was used to prove the prowess of the Rolex Oyster, which survived more than 10 hours submerged in sea water.
