Dry forecast convinces trainer to run his star in the Arc
ANDREA ATZENI will jet in from Hong Kong to ride Giavellotto in Sunday's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe after a dry forecast persuaded Marco Botti to commit his stable star to Longchamp next weekend.
Botti was lukewarm on an Arc challenge after Giavellotto and Oisín Murphy inflicted a shock defeat on Parisbound Kalpana in the Group 3 September Stakes at Kempton Park 23 days ago.
