BMI measure causes 'over diagnosis' of weight issues

MILLIONS of people globally are being "over-diagnosed" as overweight or obese because of problems with the body mass index measure.
A group of 50 experts from around the world say the BMI used to categorise people's weight needs a "radical overhaul".
BMI divides a person's weight by the square of their height and currently shows around two-thirds of adults in Britain are overweight or obese.
