Fury: Great fighter’ Nick far from done

TYSON FURY has backed Nick Ball to bounce back from his devastating WBA world featherweight title defeat.

Ball was stopped by US fighter Brandon Figueroa in front of his home crowd in Liverpool on Saturday night.

The 28-year-old, who was Britain's longest-reigning male world champion, was behind on two of the judges’ scorecards when he was flattened by a stunning left hook in the final round (Ball on the canvas, above).

He scrambled back to his feet but was then put through the ropes by his challenger to inflict a first career loss.
