IMF SAYS SURGE ECHOES DOTCOM ERA

ONE of the world's top economic bodies yesterday warned of the risk of an Al-fuelled stock market bubble.

The International Monetary Fund flagged “echoes” of the current surge in Al companies and the dotcom bubble of the 1990s – which later burst, with trillions wiped off shares.

It is still seen as a warning to investors who think backing tech firms is a one-way bet.
