7,000 weed plants found in police raid on old casino

THOUSANDS of cannabis plants believed to be worth millions of pounds have been uncovered in a police raid at a disused casino.
The huge setup was across multiple rooms on three floors of the former Aspers casino building.
Officers said the crop was still being counted but at the time it stood at around 7,000 plants, at various stages of growth.
