Week commences in green

The ASPI closed in green as a result of price gains in counters such as John Keells Holdings, CT Holdings and Dialog Axiata with the turnover crossing Rs. 2.7 Bn. A similar behaviour was witnessed in the S&P SL20.

High net worth and institutional investor participation was noted in John Keells Holdings, Hemas Holdings and Cargills. Mixed interest was observed in Vallibel Finance, Browns Investments and Commercial Bank whilst retail interest was noted in Hela Apparel Holdings, LOLC Finance and Marawila Resorts. Foreign participation in the market activity remained at subdued level
